Please plan to attend the 2009 Induction Ceremonies for the Buccaneers Athletics Hall of Fame. We are inducting seven new members this year to add to the legacy of the Battlin’ Bucs and to show how Miller High School continues our tradition of producing high quality student athletes and citizens.
This year’s Hall of Fame induction ceremonies will take place at the Holiday Inn Airport at 5549 Leopard St. on Thursday, Oct. 1, during a banquet starting at 7 p.m. Tickets are $25 per person.
The inductees will also be honored at halftime of the Miller-Ray Hall of Fame Football Game at Buccaneer Stadium, Friday, Oct. 2. We encourage you to also attend the game as we honor our new members to our prestigious and singular Hall of Fame which dates back to student-athletes who played as Bucs since 1904.
This year’s guest speaker is Buc Hall of Fame member and successful Corpus Christi businessman Fred Braselton (Class of 1956).

This year’s inductees are: Coach Bill Hooper (In Memoriam), Coach Frank Bacy, Johnny Cotten (Class of 1956), Simon Clarich (Class of 1956), Anthony Hill (Class of 1964), Michael Anthony Hernandez (Class of 1992) and Marcos M. Flores (Class of 1992).
